History books were polluted after 1970 when Indira Gandhi accommodated CPI men in her cabinet as Education & Social Welfare Minister and under his stewardship all the present history was written.

The prime minister is the acknowledged leader of the country and is comparatively young. I have no doubt that choice between him and myself should be resolved in his favor. There is therefore, no question of his quitting office “. Both references are from Rajmohan Gandhi’s book “Patel” A life. This book is full of references how Nehru was insecure due to his lack of ability and how he kept becoming road blocks for Patel Saheb. Nehru was a disgusting personality when it came to treat Patel. He kept blackmailing Gandhi by his hollow threat of resigning from his position and pressuring Gandhi to choose him or Sardar.

I won’t accept nonsense about Sardar Patel especially by the Nehru family and their stooges. As much respect Sardar Patel earned from me during my study of him and his life, Nehru earned much more hatred from me for his blunders and disservice to the country. In fact, the same family has continued their looting legacy. Shame on them. They are not even close to Sardar’s feet when it comes to patriotism.

The Govt. of India under Nehru was technically a care-taker Govt as representative Govt. was established only after 1st Lok Sabha elections in 1952 according to which, as per parliamentary democracy, decisions had to be taken by the Council of Ministers (there was no Cabinet in Constitution then) but Nehru took unilateral decisions without consulting his ministerial colleagues both during care taker period from 1947 & after 1952. Nehru deliberately also held the post of Foreign Minister till his death in 1964 to keep imp people out. Many of his decisions were never brought to the notice of parliament. As a result, Nehru had done monumental follies & serious errors of judgment for which we are still paying the price : (1) Dictatorial Nehru erred & erred by not heeding his deputy PM Sardar Patel’s advice (a) to retain bulk of battle-hardened Indian soldiers returning from WW 2 considering Chinese designs on Tibet & (b) to sanctify Tibet-British India border treaties before accepting Tibet as part of China & keep Indian troops inside Tibet as per agreements with independent state of Tibet. (Letter of Patel to Nehru in “The Henderson-Brooks/Bhagat Report of the 1962” quoted by Neville Maxwell). ( 2) Nehru did not retain into Indian Army bulk of WW2 battle-hardened Indian troops. He was busy carrying out retrenchment of professional Indian soldiers on one pretext or another. Soldiers of Bose’s INA were not taken as they had fought British-India troops, Soldiers of Princely States were denied entry as these states were puppets of Britain & had disallowed Congress’ freedom struggle within their territory, British-India Soldiers who had surrendered to Japanese in Singapore were refused as PoWs are not entitled to be taken back. Of the 2.5 million Indian troops in WW2 only 3,50.000 were retained. This despite 1947-Paki attack on Kashmir ! China ultimately came calling in 1962 back-stabbing Nehru & his Panchsheel. (3) Kashmir : Nehru went to the UNSC without consulting his ministerial colleagues. (4) Nehru used dictatorial method to incorporate Article 370 into Indian Constitution even against the wishes of BR Ambedkar who tactfully made this article temporary. (5) Nehru stealthily appended Article 35A in constitution in 1954 by presidential notification without discussion in Parliament. (6) Tibet : agreements that defense of Tibet was to be supported by Indian Army & India had agreement of security of Chumbi Valley till 1979 (site of current Doklam stand off). Nehru allowed just 3 divisions of Mao’s untrained peasant army to kill & maim over 1 million Tibetans in 1950 & refused to intervene let alone condemn the genocide. He was rewarded for his benevolence by the Chinese in 1962. (7) Refusing to accept during 1950s US & USSR offer to join as permanent member of UNSC. This was never discussed in Parliament. Communist China was denied primary UN membership & as 2nd most population country India was given this offer but Nehru wanted to send troops as UN peacekeepers only to build his ideological pacific image only. We are still struggling to get that P6 place. (8) refusing to manufacture HF 24 Marut- the world’s best & 1st supersonic fighter plane to be manufactured outside Europe & USA : designed & test-flown by HAL in 1961. Nehru asked HAL to make only civilian turbo-prop planes. Technologically left behind, we are spending tonnes of money to buy suitable fighters now. (9) Refusing to allow Homi Bhabha to conduct India’s nuclear test soon after China’s 1st test in 1964. Homi wanted to raise morale of India depressed by 62-war defeat but Nehru refused. When India finally conducted nuclear test in 1974, it was already outlawed as nuclear weapon state by NPT which was specifically passed to exclude India by recognizing 1967 as cut off date for such tests..

The crux of the British proxy in India is simple!!!! I.e. whatever way they wanted to feed/misfed information to Indian populace have done with impunity. Sad that the voice of Jaichands is still relevant in India.

I am ashamed of our official historians who have recorded Indian freedom struggle as Congress centric ignoring vast majority of Indians who languished in KalaPani, Andamans, soldiers and people supporting INA, vast amount of people who were krantikaris and their supporters. After independence whole lot of common folks who fought in the freedom struggle were discarded to live in penury in favour of elites. Even the hindu refugees were shunned in favour of elites and Muslims / angloindians / Christians.

It seems Indian history should be rewritten. Also we should forget the past and forge ahead. Dwelling in the past will only bring differences and trouble. Only learn from the past. What mistakes Nehru and other leaders made should not be repeated. PERIOD.
